Bleep Blee Bloop Blee Bloop

Brandon and I celebrated birthday number 31 together this year with a magnificent Star Wars meets Transformers theme. Here are just a few pics of the event. I'm somewhat partial to my padawan (Zoe) dueling Brandon's padawan (Oliver). But truly, the Pièce de résistance can only be the magnificent R2D2 cake that Lindsay made. Behold! Marvel at it's glory!

Telmarines Sow What They Reepicheep

Oh my awesomeness! I simply can't wait for this movie. Here's a first look at the mighty mouse himself, Reepicheep. Try not to drool too much.

New Gladiators! Woo-hoo!

Anyone that really knew me as a kid, knew of my love for the show American Gladiators. I love the combination of true skill with all the showmanship. That said, one of the most thrilling aspects of the newer incarnation of the show is that it allows former competitors to become new gladiators in the following season. The new season, kicking off on Monday, May 12th (can it be called a new season if it's occurring during the same actual season as the previous one ended?), will be featuring both winners from the last season, Evan Dollar and Monica Carlson. They will be appearing as Rocket and Jet respectively. I just feel sorry for the poor schmuck that has to be the first to face Rocket on The Wall.

A link to a preview for Jet right here. Click on the 5th video on the list.

The Ford is Strong in this One

Excellent prank here. I would have liked to have seen a Luke Skywalker cameo as well. But perhaps it's for the best. The inclusion of a whiny-voiced teenager might have tipped off the car dealer that the man in the brown cloak and the masked man in the black cloak were just playing a joke on him.

I mean fighting with baguettes is one thing... but a bratty teenager? Let's get realistic here...

Iron Man Trailer Comedy - Funny and Iron Manny

I'm still trying to find my voice with this blog, so bear with me. And as I do so, watch this awesome clip from the Onion News Network!

Haha! Awesome right! But seriously, I can't wait until they release the movie from that Sonic trailer they've been playing for several years. You know, the one with the two guys in the car ordering and eating food and drinks all the time? When is that coming out?! It looks hilarious, but they've been running the trailers for several years now. Enough already! You've built the anticipation. I mean, C'mon ...this wait is worse than Cloverfield!

I love being a daddy

You know, there's something about the word "daddy" that just melts my heart. Sure, I could be called father or dad, and that'd be all right. But the childlike innocence of the word "daddy" is just so overwhelmingly moving to me.

I don't know why I felt like sharing that. Maybe I just wanted an excuse to post pictures of my beautiful daughters... heh...

Zoe started crawling the other day, so now we've gotta put up some baby gates again. I feel kind of bad, though. It's going to impede Lucy's favorite game: running circles around the living room and kitchen.

Why not Ron Paul?

I've been perusing the candidates for the Republican nomination recently, and I've noticed that Ron Paul has had a lot of positive level-headed things to say about the economy, foreign policy, and the extent of the role that government should play in our lives.

Then I amble through the internet, and I see that a lot of nay-sayers have resorted to name-calling, primarily calling Dr. Paul a nutjob. Unfortunately, none of them have, as yet, explained WHY he's a nutjob. So could anybody do that for me now? Come on nay-sayers, this is your chance. What makes Ron Paul such a nutjob? Why wouldn't he be a good president?
